I’d like to share with you my recent delicious holiday in Corfu, Greece. I have been going to Corfu regularly for 20 years, teaching groups and also for holidays. There are 3 personal development centers in the beautiful area of Arillas in Corfu. This creates a wonderful supportive ambiance for those who would like to combine meditation, groups and sessions with their holiday.
In the centers, there are regular live music events, including sacred chants and song. One center, called Alexis Zorba, is run by Pari who is Greek, and Anadi who is German, a wonderful combination of great organization with joyous celebration. The daily feasts prepared by Alexis Zorba are exceptional in their variety and taste. My friend Punya has written a beautiful article about the centre in her online magazine Osho News.
A recently built center, called Corfu Buddha Hall, focuses on Osho meditations and events, as well as Gurjieff Sacred dance Trainings. They also host other groups, whenever they have space to do so. Miten and Deva Premal go there each year to hold singing groups of up to 140 people.
The Ouranos Club hosts personal development holidays mainly for German speaking people. In recent years, many Osho Sannyasin friends have moved to Corfu, which makes it even more attractive as a place to visit.
My friend Shivananda and I took a boat trip with his inflatable rubber boat, to an exquisite bay. Then we went to a restaurant high up on the cliff, where we could see the full moon rising while enjoying Greek delicacies. Many of the photos here are taken by Shivananda. He has a busy schedule in Arillas, as he is both musician and artist, and so he is in great demand at all 3 centers, playing live music events and also teaching regular art groups.
One of the wonderful aspects of Arillas is the unspoken agreement that half of the beach is with bathing suit and the other half is a nudist beach. Because the people going to the nudist beach are into personal development and meditation, the ambiance of the beach is very special, having qualities of calm, innocence and playfulness.
And of course, the sea is sublime. Also in Arillas, are cliffs backing the beach made of special healing clay. This can be mixed with the sea water to create a wonderful mud pack over the whole body, providing perfect sun screen. Afterwards the skin is soft like a baby.
Maybe I will see you there sometime!
Love
Sarita
P.S. I have some more photos on my Facebook Page.

Hello
Can you tell me, do you rent your space out for other peoples workshops and retreats?
Thank you
Hello Vrajgopi,
I rent venues for my retreats. In Delhi, I do my work at Zorba the Buddha which is an excellent venue. You can try there if you are looking for a venue.
